The Acute Rehabilitation Unit provides specialized, patient-centered care designed to help individuals recover and regain independence following illness, injury, or surgery. This inpatient program delivers comprehensive rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, through an interdisciplinary team focused on individualized treatment plans and successful transitions back to home and community life.

Independent Contractor - Covering Medical Director, Acute Rehabilitation
Job Details:

• Serve as Covering Medical Director for an Acute Rehabilitation Unit in a nationally recognized healthcare organization committed to patient-centered care
• Collaborate with the Medical Director, Program Director, and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction
• Ensure conformance with facility policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including CMS and The Joint Commission standards
• Support an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists delivering individualized care
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment with access to the latest technology, training, and support
• Flexible schedule with independent contractor status
