Open Rank Physician Radiation Oncology

Position Summary The Department of Radiation Oncology in the School of Medicine at UNC‑Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure‑track or non‑tenure‑track faculty position in gynecologic malignancies, inclusive of brachytherapy. Candidates will conduct academic research, including laboratory, clinical translational, or physics‑based research, and will serve as a clinician focusing on gynecologic radiation oncology with an additional disease site focus determined by expertise and institutional needs. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements MD degree (or equivalent) with subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology. ABR certification or eligibility. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Strong interest in academic research, including laboratory, clinical translational, and/or physics‑based research. Primary clinical focus on gynecologic malignancies, inclusive of brachytherapy. Additional focus on one other disease site, determined by candidate expertise and UNC clinical needs. Broad clinical abilities in radiation oncology. Proton experience and radiopharmaceutical authorized user status desired but not required.
