Medical Science Liaison, Oncology - WA, OR, AK, ID, MT

Medical Science Liaison position in oncology covering Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, and Montana. The role involves communicating scientific information about Amgen's oncology platform to healthcare decision makers, managing speaker training, and supporting clinical research initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Communicate complex scientific information and oncology platform data to healthcare decision makers at academic medical centers
- Provide clinical and pharmacoeconomic value information to payers and formulary decision makers
- Identify, recruit, and train members of Amgen's speakers' bureau on new research data
- Support investigator-sponsored and Amgen-sponsored research initiatives
- Foster scientific relationships with fellows and healthcare providers; mentor other MSLs as assigned
Requirements
- Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 3+ years medical affairs experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years medical affairs experience
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. preferred
- 3+ years experience in medically related field including clinical practice, research, or postdoctoral training
- Current or prior experience in scientific or medical affairs at biotech/pharmaceutical company
- Oncology and/or hematology therapeutic area expertise preferred
