City Building Inspector

The City of Warren is accepting applications for the position of City Building Inspector. This position performs difficult and skilled inspection of residential and/or commercial and industrial structures to insure compliance with City ordinances and for quality workmanship; inspect signs, enforce sign ordinance.

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited high school or GED equivalent.
o Diploma or official, sealed transcripts REQUIRED with application
Four (4) years of experience in building construction work or municipal code enforcement.
Compliance with the State of Michigan Public Act #407 Skilled Trades Registration Act.
Possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Michigan.
Driving record must meet citys standards for insurability.

Pay rate: $76,887/year - $85,530/year (after 5 years)
