Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 6th floor Orthopedic / Oncology / Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
• Manage a patient population at a ratio of 1:6, delivering safe, compassionate, and quality nursing care
• Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Float to other Medical Surgical units within the facility as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative patient services

• Active RN license valid for practice in New Mexico (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required prior to start
• All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date; client reserves the right to require additional certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

• Experience in orthopedic or oncology patient populations
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Comfort with floating to multiple Medical Surgical units within a facility

• Work at a Joint Commission Accredited facility with designations including a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, offering a high-acuity, rewarding clinical environment
• Enjoy year-round sunshine and outdoor recreation in southern New Mexico, including access to White Sands National Park, scenic hiking and biking trails, and the Organ Mountains
