Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,127 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for an immediate travel position opening in Albany, NY. The role is a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) for a 13-week assignment with 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in a variety of clinical areas according to procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function; report malfunctions to the director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Qualifications 1 year of recent acute care experience required. NBRC‑RRT, BLS, ACLS required (PALS and NRP may be required in some areas). Pediatric Respiratory Therapist certification (Peds-RRT) preferred. Physical Requirements Requires ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods and to lift 20 pounds easily; lifting up to 50 pounds may be required. Must have normal vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
