WE FUEL UPTIME. Position Summary The Collections Analyst works in support of the Credit & Collections Manager. This position may have a variety of responsibilities related to different areas in this department including customer service, and other related functions. Contact and follow up with customers to collect on past due balances Process certified demand letters Prepare legal documents for approval and transmission to external legal counsel Propose write-off balances to Credit & Collections Manager Meet or exceed performance metrics to include call activity targets, aging reduction, collection amounts and minimization of write-off amounts Analyze collection metrics and generate other reporting as directed by Credit & Collections Manager Perform other duties as assigned by management Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities) High school diploma or equivalent is required Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business management a plus 5+ years of commercial credit collections experience required Strong customer service skills Ability to remain professional in confrontational situations Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and within the team Bilingual is a plus - Fluency in Spanish and English Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening. Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment. Physical Demands and Work Environment Prolonged periods sitting at desk. Prolonged periods sitting working on a computer. Ability to lift, move, and carry objects to 15 lbs.
