Schedule

Shift start times vary: possible starts at 07:00, 09:00, 11:00, or 15:00. Weekend coverage per unit needs. Call required as per unit needs. Floating to nearby sister facilities may be required.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Daily census of 25 patients in 8 rooms.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience; 5 years preferred.
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.
• Required clinical experience areas: Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Robotics, Trauma.
• BLS certification required; CST certification preferred.
• Compact license preferred must have state license available at submission.
• Must be familiar with microscope and laparoscopic camera & tower; arthroscope experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical cases, including total joints, ortho trauma, neurosurgery, vascular, robotic cases, general surgery, and GYN/GU.
• Set up case carts and crash carts as needed.
• Assist with perioperative procedures across various specialties.
• Manage surgical instruments and maintain sterile environments.
• Float between different surgical units as required.

Compliance / Notes

Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays if required: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Pre-approved time off (RTO) is limited to one request and no more than 7 days.
