The Banking and Capital Markets sector serves universal and regional banks, capital markets and securities firms, and payment networks with U.S. operations. The team focuses on delivering customer insights, growth and digital strategies, operational transformation, human capital, and technology modernization services to bank executives. We help clients address regulatory reform, technological modernization, competitive dynamics, and market growth opportunities. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree7+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical architecture, software engineering, or platform engineering roles within banking, capital markets, payments, or financial services7+ years of experience leading end-to-end architecture for enterprise technology initiatives from requirements through implementationExperience delivering at least 2 large-scale transformations in core banking modernization, platform migration, payments modernization, or digital asset platform implementationExperience with application programming interfaces (APIs), service-oriented architecture (SOA), event-driven architecture, microservices, cloud platforms, blockchain, distributed ledger technology (DLT), or tokenizationAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Preferred: Advanced degree or certification in architecture, cloud, agile delivery, or program managementExperience with digital asset infrastructure, including custody platforms, tokenization engines, stablecoins, digital asset exchanges, or on-chain settlement solutionsExperience with digital asset regulatory, anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), sanctions, or Travel Rule requirementsExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, or comparable cloud and integration platformsExperience evaluating and integrating third-party fintech, blockchain, or digital asset vendor platforms into enterprise environmentsExperience presenting architecture recommendations, solution options, or implementation plans to director-, vice president-, C-suite-, or regulatory-level stakeholders The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $148,200 to $292,300. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
