Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Sanford, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor RN (Registered Nurse) Location: Sanford, NC. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a surgical environment within a busy hospital setting. The RN will serve a diverse patient population across all ages, ensuring quality clinical outcomes and patient safety. Job Details Role: RN Medical Surgical Floor Location: Sanford, NC Specialty: Medical Surgical (MS) General surgical care for patients of all ages Shift: Days, 8-hour shift starting at 7:00 AM with a minimum of 40 hours per week Schedule: Days: 7A - 3P weekly, 36 guaranteed hours; every other weekend as needed; call requirements: 6 shifts per month and 1 weekend per month Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI or equivalent Education/Experience: Must hold required licensure to work as an RN in North Carolina with 1-2 years of experience Float: Float rotation may be required Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, supporting a high-performing surgical team, and integrating clinical protocols in accordance with hospital standards. Scrubs are provided; casual wear is not permitted. Submission Requirements: Candidates must have all REQUIRED certifications prior to start.
