Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | 10-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Operate and maintain Varian radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately
• Document patient treatment information and maintain accurate records within the facility EMR system
• Collaborate with the oncology care team to ensure quality patient care and treatment accuracy
• Monitor patients during treatment for reactions or complications and respond appropriately

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy – ARRT(T)
• Active Mississippi state license (or ability to obtain upon offer)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• Experience with Varian radiation therapy equipment and ARIA EMR
• Permanent address must be located 50 or more miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel therapy experience in a clinical oncology setting
