Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) This position is located in a family-centered healthcare environment that offers labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care. The role involves providing exceptional patient care within a highly trained nursing team, supporting the safe and compassionate management of labor and delivery processes, and caring for high-risk neonates when necessary.
Job Details
- Department: Labor, Delivery, and Postpartum Care, including Neonatal care.
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required. Healthcare Provider Level BLS required. AHA ACLS and NRP certifications required. Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required. Previous experience in stabilization of the high-risk neonate is preferred.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Provide labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and support during all stages of labor and postpartum.
