Medical Receptionist

Job Description Job Description The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients in a busy private nephrology practice. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations including patient scheduling, insurance verification, patient check-in and check-out, and administrative support to physicians and clinical staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized, compassionate, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
Experience with EMR (preferrable Epic)
Knowledge of insurance verifications and medical terminology
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Proficiency with computers, scheduling software and office equipment
