Description

• Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, production efficiency, and operational performance.
• Manage and resolve day-to-day process and production challenges.
• Drive process optimization projects focused on reducing costs, improving yields, and enhancing operational safety.
• Oversee capital investment projects including equipment upgrades, process improvements, and facility modifications.
• Develop equipment specifications and support the selection, procurement, and implementation of new process equipment.
• Design and implement automated process control solutions and control strategies.
• Prepare process documentation, flow diagrams, and technical procedures.
• Coordinate activities with maintenance teams, contractors, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Support Environmental, Health & Safety programs and contribute to the development of safe operating procedures.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure regulatory and environmental compliance.
• Support wastewater treatment and environmental improvement initiatives where applicable.
• Deliver technical training and operational guidance to production teams.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated experience within a chemical manufacturing, processing, or industrial production environment.
• Proven ability to manage engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Strong knowledge of chemical process equipment, process flow development, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience conducting engineering calculations including mass balance, material consumption, and process analysis.
• Familiarity with process automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CAD software.
• Strong understanding of process safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documentation and train operational personnel.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, maintenance, production, and leadership teams.
• Experience with wastewater treatment, electrochemical processes, metallurgical operations, or industrial automation would be advantageous.
• Self-motivated, analytical, and focused on continuous improvement.
