Looking for something different from the traditional 9-to-5?

An independent business owner is seeking a highly trustworthy, organized, and financially savvy individual to provide ongoing support with personal and small-business bookkeeping, financial organization, and administrative needs.

This is a direct-to-owner opportunity - no large corporate environment, no layers of management, and no traditional accounting department.

You'll work closely with the owner and become a trusted resource for keeping both business and personal financial matters organized, current, and under control.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Maintain and organize personal & business financial records
• Handle bookkeeping, transaction categorization & reconciliations
• Monitor expenses, invoices, payments & account activity
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
• Organize receipts, statements and financial documentation
• Help track budgets, cash flow and recurring expenses
• Research discrepancies and bring anything unusual to the owner's attention
• Prepare information for the owner's CPA, tax professional or financial advisor
• Assist with special projects and general financial organization

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You may be a bookkeeper, accounting professional, experienced administrative professional, or someone with strong real-world financial management experience.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Tech-savvy - comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software

• Resourceful - you see a problem and help find the solution

THE WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is not a corporate job.

You'll work directly with an independent owner in a professional, flexible environment where trust, discretion, reliability and results matter.

Some work can be completed remotely, while certain tasks and owner-support needs may require onsite availability.

The schedule can be structured around the owner's needs and the workload, with flexibility for the right person.

COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE

Flexible compensation based on experience, skills and scope of responsibilities.

The owner is not seeking a traditional benefits package and is open to discussing a straightforward professional arrangement that works for both parties.
