Timbrook Automotive is looking for an HR Assistant to join our team!

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and someone who enjoys helping people? We are looking for an HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team with the day-to-day needs of our employees and dealerships.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build their career in Human Resources while working in a fast-paced, multi-location automotive environment.

As an HR Assistant, you will help support a variety of HR functions, including:

• Assist with new hire onboarding and employee paperwork
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
• Assist employees and managers with general HR questions and requests
• Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate communication, and applicant tracking
• Assist with the new hire process, including required employment documentation and I-9 compliance
• Help maintain personnel files and ensure HR documentation is complete
• Assist with benefits administration and employee benefit questions
• Help with payroll-related administrative tasks and employee information updates
• Assist with timekeeping, attendance, and PTO-related questions
• Prepare and maintain HR reports and spreadsheets
• Assist with employee communications, forms, and HR announcements
• Help coordinate employee training and other HR initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information
• Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed

• Organized and detail-oriented
• Professional, dependable, and approachable
• Comfortable working with confidential information
• Able to communicate effectively with employees and managers at all levels
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working with computers, Microsoft Office, and HR/payroll systems
• A team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
• Previous HR or administrative experience preferred
• Previous experience with an HRIS/payroll system is a plus
