The right candidate for this position is someone with extensive experience in Safety who will support our projects. This person will constantly be responsible for successfully integrating safety initiatives into the functional operation of the different projects by maintaining processes and procedures to prevent injuries and violations of the law or company policies and minimize the environmental impact of our operations. About the role As a Fitter/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, assembling and fitting structural, plate, and mechanical materials into various assemblies. You’ll work closely with the Shop Superintendent and other team members to ensure high‑quality production. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and Fit: Work with structural forms like frames, bridge parts, beams, and columns. Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret blueprints to plan fitting operations. Precision Work: Use your fitter skills to layout and fit detail parts accurately. Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of fit‑ups before inspection. What We’re Looking For: Experience: Extensive experience in fitting and fabricating is essential. Education: High school diploma or GED, plus 12 months of training or equivalent experience. Skills: Proficiency in reading shop drawings, high motivation, and the ability to work independently. Certifications: Current welding and OSHA certifications are required. Why Join Us?
