Bring your passion for supporting students’ success as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant working with K–12 learners in a dynamic, school-based setting. This contract opportunity involves serving multiple schools throughout the county, so adaptability and willingness to travel are essential. Assignments will be determined before the school year begins, and you’ll have the chance to make a positive, lasting impact on students at all grade levels.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current, active Florida COTA license required
• Previous experience in school settings is strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to changing locations
• Strong collaboration skills with educators, therapists, and families
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Reliable transportation for travel across assigned school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to K–12 students across various schools
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with supervising OTRs
• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
• Support classroom staff by sharing strategies for student independence
• Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and ongoing professional development
• Travel regularly within the district to assigned locations
