Conviso Inc. is hiring a Senior Infrastructure SME for a 100% Remote position offering benefits, 401(k), and accrued PTO . We're seeking an Azure Infrastructure expert to provide technical leadership in supporting and modernizing cloud infrastructure for a federal environment.

Position Summary:

\n

Senior Infrastructure SME leading Azure/Windows modernization, infrastructure integration, technical sequencing, dependency management, architecture, implementation readiness, and escalations.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Lead infrastructure workstream for dependency-driven migration.
\n
• Design and maintain Azure/Windows Server target architecture, networking, security, and DR.
\n
• Plan technical sequencing for provisioning, hardening, identity, networking, testing, cutover, rollback, and handoff.
\n
• Lead infrastructure inventory and dependency analysis across servers, applications, databases, middleware, certificates, DNS, and networks.
\n
• Oversee Azure subscriptions, VNets/subnets, segmentation, routing, security controls, hybrid connectivity, and administrative access.
\n
• Lead Azure Site Recovery design, configuration, and recovery testing.
\n
• Oversee middleware, certificates, TLS, endpoint security, and configuration remediation.
\n
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security, Database, Development, ICAM, DNS, DMZ, and other teams.
\n
• Provide technical leadership for CCBs, readiness reviews, maintenance windows, implementations, and escalations.
\n
• Review runbooks, technical documentation, test evidence, rollback plans, and operational handoff materials.
\n

Required Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 8+ years in infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, systems integration, or technical leadership.
\n
• Strong Azure infrastructure experience: subscriptions, VNets, hybrid connectivity, security, and governance.
\n
• Strong Windows Server, enterprise hosting, middleware, DNS, certificates, firewall, and network troubleshooting experience.
\n
• Experience with production/non-production network segmentation.
\n
• Experience with disaster recovery and Azure Site Recovery.
\n
• Strong change control, implementation planning, risk management, and technical QA experience.
\n

Preferred:

\n

\n
• Federal/regulated environment and ATO experience.
\n
• AZ-305 or equivalent Azure architecture experience.
\n
• OpenText or similar enterprise systems.
\n
• Entra ID, Azure SQL MI, customer-managed keys, and Zero Trust.
\n
• Formal CCB and maintenance-window experience
