Diver

Must live within a 2-hour commutable drive to Theodore, AL. The Salvage Diver is responsible for carrying out dive operations as per instructions of Dive Supervisor/Salvage Master to support wreck removal and emergency response works. The Salvage Diver is a project-based position and requires domestic and international travel to project sites. Position Responsibilities: Underwater inspection to ascertain, quantify, document and report the condition of the vessel / marine structureCarry out under water cutting, drilling, burning and welding operationsFabrication of patches installation of patchesCarry out Blow down operations to restore buoyancyUnderwater Fuel Removal using hot tap or other mechanismWater jetting to remove mudBlack water divingAble to handle heavy rigging and install shackles, chains, slings underwaterAbility to carry out Penetration divesCarry out standby dutiesOther duties as assigned
