With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.ResponsibilitiesInterprets and applies established HR policies ensuring compliance with Federal and State employment lawsAssist in maintaining and promoting a safe and healthy environment for employeesEnsure HR processes and procedures are consistently administeredMaintain HR database ensuring the accuracy of data and compiling of HR reportsPrepare monthly and quarterly reportsKeep abreast of employment law and current legislation in relation to HRSupport hourly recruitment efforts including reviewing job descriptions, placing job postings on applicable recruitment platforms, participate in interviews, evaluating applicant skills, and making recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications and skillsDevelop and maintain relationships with universities and other recruitment sourcesParticipate and work collaboratively with the training team in the development and execution of new employee orientation programs and procedures for new hiresTrack applicants and complete quarterly statistical information regarding new hires and the onboarding processParticipate in planning and execution of employee engagement events and activitiesOther duties as assignedQualifications1 year of progressive HR, Business or similar studies or experience preferred.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Must be able to work on sensitive issues with discretion and commitment to confidentiality.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities.Self-directed and motivated.Ability to work flexible hours.Ability to work with a diverse population.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.Advanced PC skills including
