Apply today! \n \n Work type: Full time. \n Job Location: Wilmington, NC \n Benefits: \n \n Company matched 401K \n Health \n Dental \n Vision \n Vol Life \n LTD \n Paid Holidays \n PTO \n Free Basic Life and short-term disability. \n\n Purpose and Function: The purpose of this position is to provide guidance, direction and oversight to commercial electric crews operating at construction job sites, as well as general management of daily field operations on project sites. This position will report to the superintendent and/or director of construction. \n \n Responsibilities and Duties: \n \n Ensure appropriate staffing levels are requested for the daily required tasks to be completed. \n Deploy personnel as necessary and in the best interest of the existing workflow daily. \n Ensure special equipment needs are requested. \n Interpret job drawings to facilitate installation of electrical system. \n Establish material list and ensure adequate material is ordered and on site to accommodate daily workflow. \n Establish weekly benchmark objectives towards completion of job. \n Ensure project benchmarks are achieved and job schedule is maintained. \n May attend project meetings and communicate information to PM and field supervisor. \n Maintain familiarity with the plans, schedule and expectations for job. \n Aid and oversight of safety initiatives and ensure a safe work environment for all personnel. \n This position will be expected to promote a team oriented, positive work environment which promotes a culture of safety and open communication. \n Communicate job progress and job needs to PM. \n Maintain oversight of job status and communicate anticipated problems. \n Ensure inspections status; scheduled and completed. \n\n Qualifications \n \n Experience completing project installation of electrical systems in commercial settings (3 – 5 years). \n Coordinating multiple field tasks and functions while providing supervision of assigned personnel. \n Experience with trade inspections, dealing with jurisdiction inspectors. \n Associated trade certifications are beneficial but not required. \n\n Physical and Environmental Requirements: \n \n Should be able to sit, bend, stoop and lift items which occasionally exceed 50 pounds. \n Be able to climb, crawl and squat as the job demands. \n The work environment is outdoors in all types of weather to include extreme heat and cold. \n The individual is exposed to extreme conditions of a construction site such as loud noise, dusty environments, moving mechanical equipment, and vibration of mechanical equipment. \n\n R.D.
