Logistics Coordinator

The Logistics Coordinator at MidAtlantic Mechanical is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of materials, equipment, and resources across multiple commercial construction projects. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that field teams receive the right materials, equipment, and support at the right time to keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Logistics & Material Coordination Coordinate the delivery and movement of construction materials, equipment, tools, and prefabricated assemblies between vendors, warehouses, fabrication facilities, and job sites. Schedule and monitor deliveries to support project schedules and field productivity. Track shipment statuses and proactively resolve delivery issues, shortages, or delays. Fleet & Transportation Coordination Coordinate company drivers and transportation resources. Maintain daily schedules for deliveries, pickups, and equipment moves. Assist with route planning to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Inventory & Warehouse Support Monitor material inventory levels and assist with inventory management. Coordinate receipt and distribution of materials at company facilities and job sites. Verify delivered materials against purchase orders and packing slips. Communication & Project Support Serve as a liaison between project managers, field foremen, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments. Provide regular updates regarding material availability, delivery schedules, and transportation logistics. Help identify opportunities to improve logistical processes and operational efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in logistics, dispatching, construction coordination, warehouse operations, transportation, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. Familiarity with material procurement and inventory management. Knowledge of transportation scheduling and fleet coordination. Experience using ERP, dispatching, inventory, or construction management software. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use computer equipment for extended periods. #J-18808-Ljbffr
