Full Stack Product Engineer – Healthcare AI | $170K–$220K + Equity

A fast-growing, $60M-funded AI startup in New York is building an AI-powered care platform that combines intelligent AI agents with expert clinicians to automate complex clinical workflows and dramatically increase healthcare capacity.

Their technology is already deployed in real healthcare environments, helping medical teams automate time-consuming processes such as patient recalls, prior authorisations and clinical preparation.

\n

\n

They're looking for a Full Stack Product Engineer to take ownership of core product development, building and scaling the systems that power these AI agents and bringing new healthcare applications from concept into production.

\n

\n

What You'll Do:

\n

Build AI Products End-to-End – Own the development of new product features and applications, working across frontend, backend and AI-powered systems from initial concept through production.

\n

Develop Real-World AI Applications – Build and integrate LLM-powered features, AI agents and intelligent workflows that automate complex clinical operations and support healthcare teams.

\n

️ Own Full Stack Engineering – Design, develop and scale modern applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL, building reliable systems that support real-world healthcare delivery.

\n

Work Directly with Product & Clinical Teams – Collaborate closely with founders, product leaders and healthcare professionals to understand operational challenges and translate them into effective technical solutions.

\n

Build for Scale & Performance – Architect robust backend services, improve system performance and continuously iterate on products based on real customer feedback and production data.

\n

What They're Looking For:

\n

✔ 2–5 years' experience as a full stack software engineer, ideally within a high-growth startup or product-focused technology company.

\n

✔ Strong experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js and modern full stack development , with the ability to work confidently across frontend and backend systems.

\n

✔ Experience building and shipping production-grade software products , taking ownership of features from initial design through deployment.

\n

✔ Strong interest in AI, LLMs and emerging technologies , ideally with hands-on experience building AI-powered applications or integrating language models into products.

\n

✔ Excellent technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to make architectural decisions, work independently and build scalable, reliable software.

\n

✔ High ownership, low ego and excited by an intense early-stage environment where you'll work directly with founders, move quickly and solve problems without an existing playbook.
