Storeroom and Procurement Specialist

Position Purpose

Owns spare parts, consumables and site purchasing, taking custody of the inventory the site materials coordinator built.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, label, store and issue spare parts and consumables with full transaction accountability.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconcile discrepancies.
• Manage reorder points, minimum and maximum levels, and place purchase requisitions.
• Manage vendor relationships for consumables, chemicals, laboratory supplies and personal protective equipment.
• Control the preservation program for stored rotating equipment and spares.
• Support the planner with parts staging and kitting for scheduled work.
• Maintain safe and compliant storage of chemicals and hazardous materials.

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years of industrial storeroom or procurement experience.
• Inventory system competence and demonstrated accuracy.
• Forklift certification or willingness to certify.
• Familiarity with hazardous material storage requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• CMMS storeroom module experience.
• Purchasing or expediting background.
