We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a team in Sedro-Woolley, Washington on a Contract assignment. This position will help restore timely and accurate financial processing by addressing outstanding accounts payable and accounts receivable activity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in QuickBooks Online while supporting organized day-to-day accounting operations.
Responsibilities:• Process vendor invoices and customer payment entries in QuickBooks Online with a high level of accuracy.
• Work through outstanding payable and receivable items to bring accounting records up to date.
• Review transaction details for completeness and correct discrepancies through careful data validation.
• Assist with routine account reconciliations and help organize financial information for easier tracking.
• Maintain clean, orderly records that support efficient daily accounting workflows.
• Prioritize assigned tasks effectively and manage data entry activities with consistent attention to detail.
• Support data cleanup efforts and contribute to the accuracy of financial documentation.
• Adapt to accounting process updates, including future changes to the organization’s financial systems as needed.• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting support or accounting clerk role.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including entering transactions and maintaining records.
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
• Experience processing invoices and reviewing financial information for completeness.
• Ability to stay focused, work efficiently, and manage assigned tasks independently.
• Solid organizational skills and careful attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
