Outpatient + Inpatient Pediatrics with an exceedingly well-regarded practice in Oregon’s Willamette Valley

Samaritan Health Services has an opportunity for a pediatrician to join our team, providing care at Mid-Valley Children’s Clinic and Samaritan Albany General Hospital, located in Albany, OR. Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties. Our skilled providers have a passion for building healthier communities through world-class, compassionate health care.

Job Specifics

• Financial incentives include inpatient stipend, starting bonus, relocation, and loan assistance funds, all available as soon as your first payroll check.

• Duties include outpatient primary care with opportunity for nursery/inpatient call.
\n
• Hospital is located across the street from the clinic.
\n
• Cohesive, well-established 9 physician team share patient panels and collaborate closely.
\n
• Samaritan Albany General Hospital has a level II nursery & 430 births per year.
\n
• Nurse triage and evening clinic staffing mean call nights are quiet.
\n
• Services offered by clinic include social worker, mental health specialist, asthma educator, care coordinator, and lactation support.
\n
• Socioeconomically diverse patient population with a large percentage of publicly insured patients
\n
• Opportunity to work with medical students and residents
\n
• 34 patient contact hours weekly includes a combination of days, plus rotating evening clinic hours

Job Requirements

\n
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician
\n
• Children’s hospital – based residency preferred
\n
• Should be comfortable working with an economically varied population
\n
• Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team-oriented
\n
• Eligibility to work in the United States
\n
