Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Overview Saint Mary’s Health Network, a member of Prime Healthcare, is a North‑Nevada healthcare system offering inpatient, outpatient, ancillary, and wellness services. The 352‑bed Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center provides diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, and other specialty care. Responsibilities The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The technologist supports the Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, processes and transmits images to PACS. Qualifications One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required. At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred. Current BLS (AHA) certificate required. Must be registry eligible and within 90 days of hire date accredited, or actively accredited by the NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) required. Must complete an accredited school of study in Nuclear Medicine.
