Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mother Baby RN for a 12-hour night shift position requiring at least 2 years of recent specialty experience.

Details

• Maternity Unit (Mother Baby) setting within a Women's Pavilion
• Night shift schedule, varying 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts, 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current NRP certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby/Maternity specialty experience required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Returning perm staff must have a 2 year break before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
