Position: General Cardiologist (PRN)

• Provide inpatient call coverage and manage outpatient clinic duties.
• Conduct echo, vascular, and nuclear studies (if qualified).
• Allocate time for administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APP) for enhanced patient care.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system for efficient patient management.
• Offer virtual visit options to accommodate patient needs.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Review patient medical records to diagnose, treat, and manage care while educating patients and their families.
• Make necessary patient referrals.
• Adhere to care management guidelines established by our organization.
• Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative environment with referring physicians, residents, clinical staff, and support personnel.
• Support academic, educational, and research initiatives.
• Participate in Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings.
• Engage with various stakeholders to promote a positive experience for patients and the community.
• Act as a resource for the community.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency from an ACGME-accredited program.
• Completion of a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship from an accredited program.
• 1-2 years of experience in General Cardiology is preferred.

• Board eligible or board certified in the specialty.
• Valid Texas Medical License.
