Type: Local contract

Hours: 36 hours weekly, rotating


Location: Radnor, PA

Dates: June 15 to August 8, 2026 (most likely will extend)


Overview:

The focus of this role is reviewing pre-screening forms, IV placement, and smaller exams like hip, shoulders, knees etc.

Must Have:

• Previous MRI Technologist experience required
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required; limited exposure acceptable with working knowledge preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient screening procedures
• Experience with IV placement preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
• Review and verify MRI safety and pre-screening forms prior to procedures
• Safely perform IV placement and administer contrast when required
• Conduct routine and specialized MRI exams, with a primary focus on smaller studies such as hips, shoulders, knees, and extremities
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient documentation within EPIC EMR system
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of MRI equipment and report any issues promptly
• Follow all MRI safety standards, infection control guidelines, and departmental policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, radiologists, and healthcare team members
