As a Security Officer Entrance Control in Richfield, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help manage access for employees, visitors, and deliveries. In this access control role, you will support a smooth operation through strong communication, visible presence, and attention to security-related activity. Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other access activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, docks, parking areas, and trailer yards, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting unusual conditions, damaged barriers, and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
