Job Description

A well-known and growing company in High Point, North Carolina, is seeking dependable Loader/Unloaders to support its warehouse and production operations. In this position, you will load, unload, move, sort, and organize freight and materials while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Loader / Unloader Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight, stock, and other materials from trucks, loading docks, storage areas, and production areas
• Move materials by hand or with equipment such as pallet jacks and rollers
• Sort cargo before loading or after unloading
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark materials with the appropriate information
• Read work orders and follow verbal instructions to determine assignments and material needs
• Stack and organize freight in designated storage locations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines
• Previous warehouse, loading, unloading, or material-handling experience is preferred
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Comfortable using a manual pallet jack and other basic material-handling equipment
• Ability to read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions
