Systems Administrator

Salary: $80,000 - 103,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of experience in IT systems back-end work
• Experience in a distributed processing environment
• Strong technical knowledge of operating systems and network technologies
• Excellent consultation and communication skills
• Analytical ability and sound judgment
• Ability to work effectively with clients and technical staff
• COVID vaccination preferred

• Provide administrative, break-fix, and technical support for security infrastructure, servers, systems, and applications, working with senior systems administrators
• Configure, patch, and maintain physical and virtual machines to protect them from unauthorized access
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and technical staff to identify and resolve complex issues that could expose our systems to security risks
• Support relational back-end systems and help coordinate work between the back-end team and the Help Desk
• Document processes and provide training as needed
• Help scan endpoint devices for integrity and support security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, patch management systems, and infrastructure security applications
• Consult with peers and technical staff to resolve complex application and infrastructure support issues
• Assist senior systems administrators with deploying new technology and preparing implementation groundwork
• Participate in cross-functional system-event resolution to achieve lasting fixes
• Perform other duties as required
