Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide service at a substance abuse clinic in the Middletown, CT area. CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS 2nd & 3rd Shifts needed $52+/hr SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY Provide triage services (evaluate medical and psychiatric status based on admission criteria) Determine level of withdrawal management needed Administer and monitor individuals' medical needs in accordance with orders by prescribing physicians Order, transcribe, and reconcile medications per MD order as needed Communicate with pharmacy as needed Maintain ongoing relationships with other health care providers to provide consistency of prescribed treatment procedures and techniques Maintain medical records and oversee thorough documentation CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE CT RN certification Experience working with adults who have challenges with substance abuse Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid DTG ADVANTAGES Establish a relationship with one of the largest referral agencies for behavioral-health.
