What You’ll Do Lead the store’s daily tasks, overseeing sales and back‑of‑house operations to meet sales objectives. Evaluate daily operations and recommend actions to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. Hold yourself and staff accountable to Core Values and coach associated behaviors. Make staffing decisions, including employment, training, task assignment, promotion, discipline, and termination. Foster a productive work environment through consistent coaching, training, and engagement of Sales Associates. Follow the customer‑engagement model, SUGARTAINMENT, by setting the stage, welcoming, engaging, entertaining and thanking customers. Maintain proficiency in product knowledge. Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines. Recruit great talent, network and recruit qualified candidates, interview and select based on core values, onboard, train, and coach Associates/Supervisors, and ensure policy adherence. Achieve sales goals by following up on customer requests, explaining product benefits, and establishing a collaborative selling culture. Manage store operations: pricing, signage, replenishment, plan‑ograms, shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, cash handling, budgeting, visual standards, special events, promotions, and communication of product recommendations. Understand and apply Loss Prevention policies, communicating issues and escalating as needed. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. 3‑5 years of retail experience. Prior sales and management experience in a retail environment required. Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to use a POS/cash register. Able to stand, walk and use hands for long periods; lift up to 25 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
