Data Engineer II

Data Engineer II RC Willey is seeking a Data Engineer to collect, analyze, and interpret data that supports informed business decisions and drives performance. This role will develop data solutions using SQL, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build efficient data models, create impactful visualizations, and ensure data accuracy across the organization. Salary: $100-120k annual salary (dependent on experience) Location: This role is on-site at our Salt Lake City, UT Corporate Office. Remote work and relocation support are not offered. Key Responsibilities Utilize SQL to query and extract data Develop Power BI dashboards for various business units Create PowerApps as needed to support project goals Work with end users to design effective visualizations Extract data from multiple sources to provide visualizations that accommodate the needs of the company Validate the data displayed to the end users Refine database designs and data structure for efficiency in models Analyze key metrics and identify patterns Collaborate with teams and stakeholders on data projects All other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, required 5+ years of technical and relevant data engineering experience Proficient in SSIS, Power BI, data warehousing, and Microsoft Visual Studio Strong programming and database skills using C# and/or Python preferred Experience creating and maintaining Power Apps Experience in ETL processes Experience in data analytics and data visualizations Familiarity with sales, inventory, accounting data analysis and data models Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented, self‑motivated, and able to perform under pressure Benefits Working with us is more than just a paycheck—it’s about being part of an organization that values connection and community.
