Telecom Warehouse Technician (Cabinet Build)

Location: Sidney, NE (In-Warehouse)

Position Type: Contract

Hours: Expected 40 hours/week (Monday – Friday)

Position Overview

We are seeking two reliable, detail-oriented  Warehouse Technicians to support a major network modernization project in the Nebraska market. Working on behalf of our client, our field teams are executing a "rip and replace" initiative to upgrade legacy network infrastructure to cutting-edge Samsung equipment.

This role is strictly based out of our  Sidney, NE warehouse . You will be responsible for the staging, assembly, and building of telecom cabinets before they are deployed to the field. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with basic telecom exposure or strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow their career with industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Cabinet Assembly: Unbox, assemble, and build telecom equipment cabinets according to specific blueprints and engineering guidelines.
• Component Integration: Install and secure internal components, mounting brackets, and basic hardware into the cabinets.
• Inventory & Staging: Organize incoming Samsung equipment, track components, and ensure assembled cabinets are properly staged for field deployment.
• Quality Control: Inspect completed builds to ensure they meet project standards and are ready for field technicians.
• Warehouse Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace within the Sidney warehouse facility.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Basic telecom experience or a strong background in mechanical assembly, warehouse staging, or hands-on trade work.
• Reliability: Utmost reliability and punctuality are non-negotiable. You must have dependable transportation to the Sidney warehouse daily.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to read basic assembly instructions and comfortably use standard hand/power tools.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
• Professionalism: Strong teamwork skills and a safety-first mindset.
