Retail jr Assistant Manager

Job Description

The Retail Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager by leading a medium-sized team and ensuring smooth day-to-day retail operations. This position focuses on delivering excellent customer service, supervising staff, managing cash handling processes, and maintaining attractive visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to drive satisfaction and loyalty
Supervise and motivate a medium-sized team (6-15 employees) to meet sales and operational goals
Manage cash handling activities ensuring accuracy and compliance
Implement and maintain visual merchandising guidelines to enhance store presentation
Collaborate closely with the Store Manager to support overall store performance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supervising retail teams of similar size
Strong understanding of retail operations and cash management
Knowledge of visual merchandising best practices
Interest in opportunities for lateral moves within retail operations for career growth
