Position : Junior Associate - Litigation (Insurance Defense) Pay Frequency: Semi-Monthly Division: NewJersey Work Location: Remote (Must live within commutable distance to New Jersey courts for appearances). Our firm is seeking to hire a junior litigation associate to join our established and growing insurance defense team in New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or junior attorney with up to 2 years of experience who is looking to gain hands-on litigation experience in a fast-paced environment. The associate will work closely with senior attorneys and partners while supporting matters involving general liability and personal injury claims. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in managing litigation files and handling assigned tasks with increasing independence Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands/responses, and legal memoranda Support depositions and court appearances, with mentorship and supervision Conduct legal research and communicate with clients and carriers Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation Comply with reporting guidelines and firm procedures MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Admitted (or pending admission) to the New Jersey Bar Experience: 0-2 years of experience in litigation. Prior law clerkship experience strongly preferred Interest in insurance defense, personal injury or general liability matters PREFERRED SKILLS: Prior internship/clinical experience in litigation or insurance defense (preferred) Strong research and writing skills Interest in insurance defense, personal injury or general liability matters Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
