Pay and Employment Pay Grade: 14 Salary: $3,600.84 - $5,401.34 Monthly Employment Type: Executive Branch, Full Time, Eligible for Overtime Pay, 18A, 37.5 Hours/Week Description The Kentucky Department of Parks is seeking a Program Coordinator to work in the Financial Operations Division. The Program Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the Division of Financial Operations and the Division of Facilities Management within the Kentucky Department of Parks. This position coordinates activities, communication, and reporting related to capital projects, maintenance initiatives, financial management, fixed assets, insurance reporting, and disaster recovery documentation. Duties Serve as the primary liaison between the Financial Operations and Facilities Management to coordinate financial and operational activities. Monitor and track capital improvement, maintenance, and facilities projects to ensure timely completion, budget compliance, and proper documentation. Utilize eMARS, eMARS Reporting, and other financial systems to prepare and analyze financial, budget, and project reports. Coordinate invoice processing and payment activities to ensure timely payments and resolution of discrepancies. Assist with insurance claims, FEMA reimbursement efforts, and related state and federal reporting requirements. Maintain financial, project, and reporting records and support process improvements. Collaborate with leadership to address issues and support departmental objectives. Preferred Skills Knowledge of governmental accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting principles. Experience using eMARS and eMARS Reporting or similar financial management and reporting systems. Strong project coordination, tracking, and organizational skills. Knowledge of fixed asset management, insurance claims, and FEMA reimbursement processes. Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience, Training, or Skills: Three years of professional experience in management or administration. Substitute Education for Experience: A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience. Substitute Experience for Education: Administrative or business experience will substitute for the required education on a year‑for‑year basis. Special Requirements (Age, Licensure, Regulation, Etc.): None. Working Conditions Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting. Minimal travel may be required.
