D A Y P O R T E R - ROVER TEMPORARY POSITION

40 hours a week

Monday/Tuesday: OFF

Wednesday-Saturday: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

COMPANY VEHICLE PROVIDED

Rover position requires the qualified person be able to work effectively and must be responsible and self-sufficient even when administration is not present as they are responsible for representing Universal Maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE 

1. Arrive on time with a great attitude and ready to work.

2. Rover must drive from one account to another including from one

city to another as instructed.

3. TRASH CANS - Start by changing the bags of the trash cans,

cleaning the lids and the floor around the trash cans for possible

spills. Trash cans must remain clean and free of trash at all times

during your working hours.

4. LANDSCAPE – Keep garden areas clean and free of garbage, cigarette

butts and other materials.

5. DUST AND DEWEBBING – Clean window frames of dust and cobwebs.

6. You must keep the garbage enclosure clean and free of garbage, spills, or any other materials.

7. Keep the parking lot clean and free of trash.

8. USE SAFETY CONES - when necessary to prevent a slip in any area of the shopping center.

9. Clean liquid spills in any area of the shopping center to avoid accidents.

10. ONCE TRAINED BY YOUR SUPERVISOR: Remove graffiti using your personal protective equipment (PPE)

11. Keep all shopping center signs clean (Supervisor will indicate which signs apply)

12. In some occasions you may be required to use a mop, cleaning supplies for the restrooms, vacuum or blow using a

gas or electric blower, clean or do some other tasks not indicated previously.

13. Observe and report problems promptly.

14. If you are not familiar with the account which you are covering it is your responsibility to ask and coordinate with the supervisor who assigns you the route to clarify any questions related to any account you are not familiar with.

REQUIREMENTS

• You must have a valid California Driver's license

• You must have a clean driving record

• Bilingual ( Spanish/English) - Preferable but not necessary 

• You must have basic knowledge of technology such as how to use an email account, how to send reports from your work phone such as photos, text messages and others

• You will need to drive from one property to another according to the assigned accounts

• Ability to communicate clearly with the Supervisor or Account Manager

• Maintain good personal appearance, punctuality, and excellent work ethic

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs

• Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift

El puesto de Rover requiere que la persona seleccionada pueda trabajar de manera eficiente y responsable, y que sea autosuficiente incluso cuando la administración no esté presente, ya que será responsable de representar a Universal Maintenance .

RESPONSABILIDADES INCLUYEN:

1. Llegar a tiempo, con una buena actitud y preparado(a) para trabajar.

2. El Rover deberá conducir de una cuenta a otra, incluyendo de una ciudad a otra, según las instrucciones recibidas.

3. BOTES DE BASURA – Comenzar cambiando las bolsas de los botes de basura, limpiando las tapas y el piso alrededor de los botes para eliminar cualquier derrame. Los botes de basura deben mantenerse limpios y libres de basura durante todo el horario de trabajo.

4. JARDINERÍA/ÁREAS VERDES – Mantener las áreas de jardín limpias y libres de basura, colillas de cigarrillos y otros materiales.

5. POLVO Y TELARAÑAS – Limpiar el polvo y las telarañas de los marcos de las ventanas.

6. Mantener el área de los contenedores de basura limpia y libre de basura, derrames o cualquier otro material.

7. Mantener el estacionamiento limpio y libre de basura.

8. USAR CONOS DE SEGURIDAD – Cuando sea necesario, para prevenir resbalones o accidentes en cualquier área del centro comercial.

9. Limpiar los derrames de líquidos en cualquier área del centro comercial para evitar accidentes.

10. UNA VEZ CAPACITADO(A) POR SU SUPERVISOR: Eliminar grafiti utilizando su equipo de protección personal (PPE).

11. Mantener limpios todos los letreros del centro comercial. El supervisor indicará cuáles letreros corresponden.

12. En algunas ocasiones, se le podrá requerir utilizar un trapeador, productos de limpieza para los baños, una aspiradora o un soplador de gasolina o eléctrico, así como realizar otras tareas que no se hayan mencionado anteriormente.

13. Observar y reportar cualquier problema de manera oportuna.

14. Si no está familiarizado(a) con la cuenta que está cubriendo, será su responsabilidad preguntar y coordinarse con el supervisor que le asignó la ruta para aclarar cualquier duda relacionada con una cuenta que no conozca.

REQUISITOS

• Debe tener una licencia de conducir válida de California .

• Debe tener un historial de manejo limpio .

• Bilingüe (español/inglés) – Preferible, pero no obligatorio.

• Debe tener conocimientos básicos de tecnología, como saber utilizar una cuenta de correo electrónico y enviar reportes desde el teléfono de trabajo, incluyendo fotos, mensajes de texto y otros.

• Deberá conducir de una propiedad a otra de acuerdo con las cuentas asignadas.

• Capacidad para comunicarse claramente con el Supervisor o Account Manager (Gerente de Cuenta).

• Mantener una buena presentación personal, puntualidad y excelente ética de trabajo.

• Debe poder levantar, empujar o jalar hasta 35 libras .

• Debe poder estar de pie o caminar hasta 8 horas por turno .
