Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication development in this contracted speech-language pathologist role. Work directly with a caseload of approximately 55 students across two elementary school sites, focusing on a diverse range of needs—from speech-only services and mild-to-moderate support to students with Extensive Learning Needs. Your expertise in school-based speech therapy will empower students to communicate effectively and succeed in their academic environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
• Active, valid SLP licensure in California
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows considered
• Previous experience in an elementary school setting strongly desired
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload serving students with a broad spectrum of speech and language disorders, including those with extensive learning needs
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students in speech-only and mild-to-moderate categories, as well as those requiring extensive communication support
• Develop and implement IEPs and goals customized to each student's needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and generalize skills across settings
• Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Travel between two nearby elementary school sites as part of your weekly schedule
