Position Summary:

Xylem is looking for a Field Service Technician to service our customers in the East Rutherford, NJ surrounding areas.

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Usually works with direct supervision but can work independently if needed

Travel Requirements:

• Travel within the Tri-State area company vehicle provided

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check & pre-employment drug screen
• Construction background highly preferred
• 0 to 2 years of technical work experience, 1 year preferred

Skill Requirements:

• Civil and mechanical construction experience
• Lead by example
• Work without direct supervision
• Technically sound
• Experience with Microsoft Office including smart devices
• Must have customer service experience
• Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
• Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly
• Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve moderately complex problems often in novel and unexpected ways

**The estimated salary range for this position is $28 to $30/hourly. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
