Position Overview The Lead Client Services Ops role will support the Elevate Solutions Team. This 100% in‑office position is based in Meridian, ID. Candidates must be able to work on‑site five days per week during designated work hours. Key Responsibilities Provide operational initiative, guidance and support across a Client Services Team of Account Managers, ensuring outstanding client satisfaction. Monitor team performance (quantitative and qualitative), identify and prioritize improvement opportunities, and coordinate workload and client assignments. Work directly with clients on escalated issues; act as first‑level escalation contact and resolve issues. Develop and implement learning opportunities to build knowledge and skills among Team Members and in the broader organization. Participate in cross‑team projects to increase operational effectiveness and improve tools and processes. Use formal and informal metrics to assess team effectiveness, drive continuous improvement and report results to leadership. Primary Responsibilities Dependability/Follow Up: Timely responsiveness and proactive follow‑up. Problem solving: Troubleshoot and solve problems using knowledge, resources, qualitative and quantitative information. Communication: Provide professional and appropriate internal/external communication and progress updates to all stakeholders. Guidance: Provide clients guidance on HR and Payroll best practices, organizational change management, and Paylocity product fit. Implement and optimize products: Ability to implement ancillary products and optimize primary HCM set‑up. Influence: Ability to influence outcomes with decision‑makers, negotiate contracts, and provide insights into HR industry best practices. Team Lead Responsibilities Metrics, Reporting and Analysis: Leverage formal and informal metrics to identify trends, monitor effectiveness, and assess intervention results. Advocate for necessary metrics and reporting. Performance Management: Provide real‑time teaching, coaching, and performance management. Develop learning objectives and facilitate coaching, training, and mentoring. Client Focus: Monitor client interactions, intervene when needed, and resolve issues. Identify situations that may disrupt service and take steps to minimize impact. Operational Tools & Processes: Plan, lead and execute cross‑team initiatives to improve operational effectiveness. Workload Coordination & Assessment: Schedule and adjust workload to meet priorities and maintain responsiveness goals. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 2 years of payroll, finance, or spend management with client services or support experience. Successful experience in escalations and at‑risk client retention efforts. Project Management experience. Proficiency in SQL, MS Access or Excel. Operations experience. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years supervisory experience. HRIS experience. Experience leading training initiatives. Experience using reporting and metrics as a key part of the job. Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll, benefits, HR administrator, and/or Finance/Spend Management. Ability to present HR data effectively. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods (7‑8 hours a day at a desk or workstation). Use of computer, phone systems, and ability to type. Must be able to operate multiple software programs simultaneously. Benefits and Compensation Pay range: $53,600 – $85,100/yr (base pay varies by location and experience).
