Job DescriptionJob DescriptionInformation System Security Manager (ISSM), LeadFull Time, On-site, Fort Belvoir, VATop Secret Clearance** This position is contingent upon award **Overview:Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Information System Security Manager (ISSM), Lead to provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.Key ResponsibilitiesServes as principal advisor on information system securityEvaluates, monitors, ensures adequacy of cybersecurity postureCoordinates, reviews, uploads engineering artifacts into eMASSMonitors information security data sourcesOversees information security awareness trainingParticipates in Security Assessment and AuthorizationDevelops and implements cybersecurity policies/proceduresManages POA&Ms and remediation plansEnsures compliance with cybersecurity requirementsSupports multiple classification levels (Unclassified through SAP)In-depth knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity frameworksExperience with eMASS and security authorizationKnowledge of NIST 800-53 controlsExperience developing security policies/proceduresAbility to conduct risk assessmentsExperience with multiple security classification levelsRequirements:Analyzes and defines security requirements for multilevel security systemsDesigns, develops, engineers, integrates solutions to MLS requirementsConducts security auditsGenerates system-level security documentationSupports development of System Operation ProceduresApplies knowledge of IT Governance, risk mitigation strategies, encryption/decryptionPerforms risk analysis including risk assessment processes and proceduresRecommends information assurance/security solutionsPerforms analysis, design, development of security features for system architecturesDesigns, develops, engineers, implements solutions meeting security requirementsProvides integration and implementation of computer system security solutionPerforms vulnerability/risk analyses during all SDLC phasesComprehensive knowledge across key tasksFunctions as technical expertMust possess an active Top Secret ClearanceAbout Semper Valens Solutions:Semper Valens Solutions, Inc.
