Job Description

Job Description

Great grooming takes skill, time, and the right support. At Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Abacoa, you'll find all three.

We're looking for groomers who take pride in beautiful finishes, gentle handling, and exceptional pet care. In return, we offer a salon built for quality, with the tools, scheduling, and support to help you do your best work. And we believe great groomers never stop learning. Through our Woof Gang grooming curriculum and partnerships with professional grooming educators, we provide opportunities to sharpen your skills, learn new techniques, and continue growing your career.

We're a busy salon with loyal clients and a book that's ready for you.

At a glance

• Full-time or Part-time positions
• Our front desk handles phones, booking, and reminder calls
• In-and-out appointments: pets go home when they're done, not into a kennel for hours
• Woof Gang grooming curriculum and mentoring

What your day looks like

• Our front desk handles the phones, booking, client check-in, and reminder calls
• Appointments scheduled with enough time for quality work and safe handling: an average of 4 to 5 dogs per day, set schedule you can plan your life around

A Beautiful, Professional Salon Designed for Groomers

You deserve a beautiful workspace that makes your job easier. Our salons feature a modern, thoughtfully designed layout with separate wet and dry grooming areas, creating a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for both groomers and pets. We know grooming is physically demanding, so our salon design and professional equipment help reduce strain on your back, shoulders, and hands while supporting quality and safety.

Our salon features include:

Quality over quantity

Pet safety comes first, always. We schedule appointments around safety and finish quality, and every groomer has the authority to pause or stop a groom when a pet's comfort or safety is at risk.

What you'll do

• Provide grooming services: bathing, drying, breed-specific cuts, hand scissoring, de-matting, and nail care
• Handle every pet gently and safely, following salon safety standards
• Talk with pet parents about coat care, style preferences, and their next visit
• Keep your station clean, organized, and safe
• Work as part of a friendly, supportive team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience
• Handling and scissoring skills across breeds and coat types
• Patience, good judgment, and a safety-first mindset
