Roadway Project Manager

Wilson & Company’s Denver Office is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in Transportation/Roadway design to lead and direct high‑level roadway design projects primarily in Colorado, with opportunities across the company. Roles & Responsibilities Client interaction and coordination on a frequent basis. Coordinate plans and schedules of detailed phases of engineering work and design of major projects. Monitor time schedules, job costs and adjust to comply with each. Perform design calculations and check design work of staff and design engineers. Supervise assistants, designers, technicians, and CADD operators/drafters. Coordinate other disciplines and sub‑consultants to ensure timely completion. Prepare preliminary engineering reports, feasibility reports, and presentations to clients or stakeholders. Lead client engagement and develop strategies for winning work. Develop and execute winning proposals in coordination with marketing staff. Required Skills & Experience Proficiency with MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads or AutoCAD/Civil3D software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related curriculum. Licensed Professional Engineer in CO or ability to obtain within four months. 10+ years’ experience in the design of streets and highways. Proven ability to manage multiple team members and coordinate effectively with other engineers and technicians. Knowledge and experience with federal, state, and local regulations that pertain to the design of street and/or highway projects. Salary & Location Annual salary range: $115,000—$150,000+, depending on experience. Job location: Denver, Colorado, United States.
