They are responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through virtual communication channels while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient services as determined. Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude (e.g., X‑Ray Technologists, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care. Provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide appropriate guidance. Actively engage with clinical leadership, escalating to management where appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolve concerns. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with emphasis on patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliable information. Ensure activities are consistent with department expectations and comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings. Prioritize a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with Supervising Physicians and complete E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols. Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality of care standards. Adhere to the core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care. Communicate frequently within the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, and conduct clinic tours. Assist new employees with learning activities and required training. Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities for new hires. Maintain a friendly, cordial work atmosphere and positive relationships with clients, co‑workers, and managers. Perform physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions as specified in the job demands. Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality among employees. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Have proven experience working as a Telehealth Clinician. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Ancillary Provider Duties Work a minimum of 4 shifts per month as a PRN Employee. Full‑time Employees are required to work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Occasional on‑call periods throughout the year. Experience Levels Level 1: New Graduate nurse practitioner with up to 1 year of experience. Level 2: Nurse practitioner with over 1 year and less than 5 years of experience. Level 3: Nurse practitioner with over 5 years and less than 10 years of experience. Level 4: Nurse practitioner with over 10 years of experience. Education & Experience Requirements Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice). Proven experience working as a Telehealth Clinician. Licensure & Certification Active, in‑good‑standing nursing license and DEA, verifiable with appropriate regulatory agency. DEA required for all providers; if limited by state law, DEA must be obtained within 120 days of meeting minimum years of practice. DOT certification required to be obtained by full‑time and part‑time providers within 120 days and maintained. Provide care to all ages and meet any credentialing requirements needed.
