Quality EngineerJob Type: Full-Time Industry: Manufacturing Experience Level: 2–5 YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support product quality and manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet company, customer, and regulatory quality requirements.The Quality Engineer will work closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to identify and resolve quality issues, improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and drive continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and control plansMonitor manufacturing processes and product quality to ensure compliance with specificationsInvestigate product defects, customer complaints, and process issues using root cause analysisLead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify their effectivenessUtilize quality tools including 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, FMEA, SPC, and Pareto analysisDevelop and maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, work instructions, and inspection standardsSupport APQP, PPAP, MSA, and capability studies for new and existing productsAnalyze quality data and identify trends to support continuous improvementPartner with production teams to implement process improvements and reduce scrap and reworkPerform internal, process, and product auditsWork with suppliers to resolve incoming material and supplier quality concernsInvestigate customer complaints and product nonconformancesTrain employees on quality procedures, standards, and requirementsMaintain accurate quality documentation and recordsEnsure compliance with applicable quality standards, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirementsCollaborate effectively with production, engineering, suppliers, and managementQualifications2–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, or a related fieldKnowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)Experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA)Knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPCExperience developing and maintaining process and product quality standardsAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&TExperience with inspection and measurement toolsUnderstanding of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&RKnowledge of statistical analysis and data-driven problem solvingExperience conducting internal, supplier, or process auditsAbility to investigate customer complaints and nonconformancesStrong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with quality-related softwareExcellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience or certificationCQE (Certified Quality Engineer) certificationWhy This Role?This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer who enjoys working hands-on in a manufacturing environment, solving quality problems, improving processes, and working with cross-functional teams to prevent defects and improve overall product quality.
